Marshall Nindi is a college student from Zimbabwe who jumped right in to serve our 180 Student Ministry the minute he got at Abundant Grace! His love for Jesus and the students is infectious. He has served diligently in weekly waypoints (youth small groups) and every Sunday gathering. Whether it is leading a service, discussion group, or youth band, Marshall is always ready to help out. He gives his time and efforts in meeting students individually and building them up as a team to serve on Sundays. We are so blessed to have Marshall as a key volunteer for the 180 Student Ministry!
“Ever since I was a young boy, I had a passion for people and helping them recognize their purpose and flame in Jesus Christ. Abundant Grace allows me to do so, hence it encourages me to gladly give my time to serve. You see, the church is a body. Let’s think about this, honestly, a fully able body (a head, two arms, two legs, two ears….etc) it is more effective than a less able one (let’s say a head, one eye, one arm, one leg…etc). This is the same with the church, there is so many parts that need to be filled which can only be done by us. That basically answers why I chose to volunteer, as I recognize the needs of this body.
Giving up my time keeps me humble. It reminds me there is a bigger picture than myself (which is our God). I get to express God’s love with my actions. I feel privileged to be able to pass on the little I know to all those around me. Through this, I feel God’s peace and witness His glorious wonder, which leaves me in Awe of Him more and more. Volunteering at Abundant Grace has made me feel part of a family, with the notion that by being selfless God is exalted. Each and every one of us are a vital part of ministry. Lastly, all nations represented under one roof, serving together one Savior, visually depicts us as one big family.”—Marshall Nindi
