Dear Abundant Grace Family,
As the year 2017 comes to a close, it is good to pause and reflect on our life experiences the past twelve months and witness God’s unwavering faithfulness to us, our families and our church. I urge you to take time to give him sincere thanks.
This year marks a major change point for Abundant Grace due to the departure of founding senior pastor Nate Showalter in June and the initiation of a season for church leaders to prayerfully evaluate church health and future directions. The elders hope to officially launch the search for a new long term senior pastor in January.
I have been truly privileged to serve as interim senior pastor at AG these past seven months. We are all honored to be part of this extraordinary international church that is making a huge contribution to expanding the borders of God’s Kingdom on earth. Not only do we serve the spiritual needs of expatriates from all over the world who have relocated in Shanghai but we also touch the entire city, nation and world through our many service projects and partnerships with ministries helping the poor, the orphaned, the sick, the elderly and lonely people needing love, justice and hope.
You can help sustain and enlarge the marvelous work AGIF is doing for God through your generous year end gift. We heavily depend upon your support at this time of year to meet staff and ministry expenses.
Merry Christmas and may God richly bless you!
