Very rarely in the Bible does God command someone to “Stay”.
He opens a door, and then he invites us to walk through it — into the unknown.
And how we choose to respond will ultimately determine the life we will lead and the person we will become.
In fact, to fail to embrace the open door is to miss the work God has made for us to do.
In All the Places To Go…, bestselling author John Ortberg opens our eyes to the countless doors God places before us every day, teaches us how to recognize them, and gives us the encouragement to step out in faith and embrace all of the extraordinary opportunities that await.

One of the country’s most popular tourist destinations, the province stretches from Port Edward in the south to the borders of Swaziland and Mozambique to the north.
Between the mountains and the humid, subtropical coastline is savannah grassland, but there are also areas of indigenous forest along the coast.
Durban, the seat of the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality, is one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the world. Its harbor is one of the busiest in South Africa and one of the 10 largest in the world.

KwaCare: KwaDeabeka is an informal settlement with an approximate population of 175k people. Through a number of different projects, we seek to help the most vulnerable—specifically orphans and child “head of home” families.
Child “Head of Home” is where the parents have abandoned the child or died and the oldest children provide for the youngest. Some of these child “head of home” children are as young as 11 or 13 yrs of age.
KwaCare is home based alongside HIS CHURCH, Pinetown. A wildly creative & vibrant urban community of people who are committed to showing and growing with in the love of Jesus.
Abundant Grace supports KwaCare efforts by annual educational scholarships that cover school fees, stationary, uniforms and monthly mentoring programs that are run by KwaCare.

7 Rivers: Kelly & Cherise Smith have been missionaries for 13 yrs; first in Mexico, then in the USA working with the Apache tribes and now in Olwasini, South Africa for the last 11 yrs. They have been married for 19 yrs with 5 children.
The 7 Rivers farm is located in the heart of Olwasini, Kwa-Zulu- Natal, just after the 7th water crossing of the Amahlongwa River. The farm has held the name 7 Rivers Farm for over 50 years and is a well-known location in the area. It is 75 beautiful subtropical acres which now has an orchard of approximately 400 macadamia nut trees and a couple dozen mango trees. Also living on the farm is the Kemp Family. Scott & Erin have been missionaries for 4 years before relocating to 7 Rivers Farm with their 6 children. They have been married for 17 yrs.
The HIV/Aids pandemic equates for over 40% of the African population in Kwa-Zulu-Natal. The community benefit from the ministry of 7 Rivers as they assist folks in thinking through not only how to respond to the crisis in their families own lives but what the Bible says about their future after this life is over.

Kelso Informal: Kelso is a extremely poor community of 300 which was founded
Settlement upon a landfill site. The homes are tin roof cinder block, there are 3 water taps and no electricity.
The crown jewel of “The Hill” is the preschool, which is run by a faithfully devoted group of Zulu women as well as volunteers from Living Rivers Church. The preschool looks after many children and serves as a source of hope and love for the community.
Abundant Grace supports Kelso through our local partner Umdoni Christian Academy with educational sponsorships so that school aged children can attend quality schools with dignity, safe transport and regular meals.
We also support the preschool by providing teaching supplies, curriculum, new shoes, and warm clothes for the children.

Fathers House: The South African Government in response originally erected The Malangeni Block Settlement to homelessness. There are hundreds of cinder block homes in these hills. Ps. Sakhile Chili and his wife Esther are missionaries who have established their home and their church, Fathers House, here in hopes of providing practical ways that the people of these hills can participate in making their lives better.
Abundant Grace supports Fathers House by participating in an annual soccer tournament, The Shanghai Cup, that continues to build healthy community relationships with the youth. We also assist with the churches building rental fees and basic improvements for the pastors home as it functions as a ministry hub.
Ingane Yami Children’s Village is an ongoing outreach ministry Kloof Harvest Church in response to the orphaned & abandoned children trapped in vulnerable circumstances due to dependency, HIV/AIDS, prostitution, rape & abuse that exists within the Zulu tribes. The leadership of Ingane Yami work with the child welfare system to establish relationships to identify & rescue children who are in life threatening situations and bring them to live until adulthood in a stable environment.
When completed the Village will consist of 25 homes in clusters of 5 houses, a church, community hall, sports field, clinic, preschool and various other facilities. Grouping the homes in clusters of 5 helps to form small communities within the greater village that is native to Zulu culture. As the Village grows, the hope is that Ingame Yami will reflect a fully restored community bringing a sense of value, accomplishment and leadership to South Africa at large.
