“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing.”Hebrews 13:2
The hospitality ministry serves as the church’s welcoming committee! It is our job to welcome you into a comfortable environment as we all gather together to worship the Lord. Additionally, the hospitality ministry facilitates deeper connections within the AGIF community through connecting you to our various small groups and service opportunities!.
The hospitality team is powered by a multitude of smiling faces that come joyfully to serve the Lord and you! Service opportunities include greeting, ushering, connecting newcomers, preparing for weekend services, and book ministry. Let anyone of us know if you want to get involved!
The smiling faces that greet you as you enter the church are the very same volunteers that serve on the hospitality team! If you need anything, come find one of us (look for the Hospitality t-shirts!) and we’ll be happy to serve.
Parents of young children (two and under) are welcome to bring your children to the parents’ room–a cozy room for your babies to nap or play while you can still listen and watch the gathering in the main sanctuary via a live TV feed. It is located on the side of the church towards the restrooms and children classrooms. Ask a hospitality volunteer and we’ll gladly bring you there!
